There are different types and reasons of falling hair. It could be caused by genetics or diseases. No matter the cause, it should be treated accordingly.

It is normal for a person to lose certain amount of hair daily. This is part of your hair growth cycle. But excessive daily hair loss would probably signal anyone that there is something wrong. There are many factors that cause hair loss. One reason could be genetics, medical medication or immune disorders, but the most common reason is a disease. If you are ill, your hair would probably be ill. Because you have health issues, your hair would tend to fall out. This needs proper medical attention. Here are some different kinds of hair loss.

An autoimmune disease called Alopecia could be a genetic condition and could run in families. This result in the person's immune system to go into a defensive or attack mode and destroying the hair follicles. Most of the times, losing hair of this kind could be permanent. Only some cases are artificial. Endocrinal disease such as malfunctioning thyroid, either over or under active causes hair loss. Some also displays balding patches that are red and itchy caused by Scalp ringworms which are in the fungal family of diseases. Folliculitis is another common fungal disease causing hair loss which presents pimples growing on top of the hair follicles. These fungal disorders could be effectively treated with anti-fungal medicines. If your iron content in the body is depleting, you probably are suffering from anemia which can cause your hail to fall out. Boosting your diet with iron-rich foods could easily cure this condition. Having diabetes have been related to hair loss way back in the 1800's.This is caused by impaired healing process of diabetics that affects hair growth cycle.
